Our History
The Medicine Hat Accommodation Association was formed in 2006. Several hotel managers in Medicine Hat, AB saw a need for the individual properties in the city to meet on a regular basis to discuss common goals and issues within the hotel industry. As a coordinated group the hotels hoped to achieve greater success in growing out of town business for Medicine Hat.
The primary goals of the MHAA are to address local hotel issues and devise solutions for industry needs. The Medicine Hat Accommodation Association focuses on attracting additional visitors to Medicine Hat through partnerships, joint promotions and advertising.

The objective of the Medicine Hat Accommodation Association is to work towards common interests and goals of the hotel industry. To have a unified voice in the community of Medicine Hat and Western Canada. The Medicine Hat Accommodation Association develops and encourages coordinated joint marketing efforts to make Medicine Hat a premier destination.
