Itinerary 1: Arts & Ales Trail The Artisan & Craft Beer Trail

This itinerary is perfect for those who appreciate unique local creations, craft beverages, and a relaxed, inspiring atmosphere.

Morning (10:00 AM – 12:00 PM): Artistic Exploration 

• Medalta in the Historic Clay District
  • Start your day immersed in creativity and history. Explore the National Historic Site, wander through the museum, and admire the current exhibits. Consider using your Mastercard cash card towards the Clay and Play workshop or simply to pick up a unique, locally made pottery piece at the gift shop.
• Esplanade Arts & Heritage Museum 
  • Head downtown to the Esplanade Arts & Heritage Museum.  Pay What You Will (which means donating what you think is fair for the experience) and check out the Medicine Hat museum and other current exhibits.

Lunch (12:00 PM – 3:00 PM): Downtown Delights & Hand-Crafted Goods

  • Next up a delicious lunch at Station Coffee Co. They offer a cozy atmosphere with ethically sourced coffee and a selection of fresh, in-house made food options perfect for a casual and satisfying meal.
• Creative Freedom & Art Hub 
  • Just a short walk from Sation Coffee, they have Pick N Paint pottery pieces that you can get creative and paint on your own. Or there is a Rage Room where you can work out some anger and smash some pottery!
